Paper Mache Tray — Red, Medium

This hand-painted wooden tray is part of a flower series developed together with a Paper Mache artisan in Srinagar.

The series began with a wooden box we found in the workshop. Drawn to its design, we began exploring how it could grow — into different objects, and eventually into a small collection of three flowers.

Each piece is painted by hand, carrying the slight variations and traces of the person who made it.
