Paper Mache Box — Purple, Large

This hand-painted wooden box is part of a flower series developed together with a Paper Mache artisan in Srinagar.

The series began with a floral wooden box we found in the workshop. Drawn to its design, we began exploring how the idea could grow — into different objects and different flowers. This led to a small collection of three floral designs, including this one.

Each piece is painted by hand, carrying the slight variations and traces of the person who made it.
