Paper Mache Box — Red, Small

This hand-painted wooden box is part of a flower series developed together with a Paper Mache artisan in Srinagar.

This box was where the series began. We first found this floral design in the workshop and were drawn to it. From there, we began exploring how it could grow into different objects, eventually becoming a small collection of three flowers.

Each piece is painted by hand, carrying the slight variations and traces of the person who made it.
